About the BMW N20B20A Engine

The BMW N20 is the turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four that replaced the naturally aspirated N46 and supercharged N18 units in BMW’s compact and mid-size range, combining turbocharging with BMW’s VALVETRONIC variable valve lift and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing to deliver an engine that is both more powerful and more fuel-efficient than its predecessors.
